"There's such a sense of craft and control in the build here,
and the payoff is excellent."

Jordan Perry has solidified his reputation as a dynamic force in the Saskatchewan music scene and beyond, earning recognition as a skilled drummer, versatile producer, and prolific songwriter. Now, Perry takes the next step in his artistic evolution with a bold, self-defined project that distills his wide-ranging expertise into a singular, cohesive vision. His brand new single, “sleep.o”, delivers a more somber, cinematic side of Perry's offerings.
What began as a personal reflection grew into a dark meditation on false leaders and control - themes that feel urgent today.
“This feels like a heavy moment in history,” Perry reflects. “I wrote this song years ago, but it feels more relevant now than ever.”
Anchored by Perry’s evocative vocals and textured electronic soundscapes, sleep.o is further elevated by a sweeping orchestral arrangement from Andrew Joslyn, whose acclaimed credits include work with the Seattle Symphony, Kesha, and Macklemore. The collaboration weaves together cinematic grandeur and intimate emotion, creating a sound that feels both otherworldly and deeply human.
Perry’s extensive career includes accolades such as a Canadian Independent Music Award nomination and features in Sick Drummer Magazine, Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles, and CBC Radio Canada’s Ici Musique. His collaborative work spans a diverse range of artists, from JUNO-winning Indigenous icon Chester Knight, Canadian Music Week (CMW) showcasing artists Shayla Souliere and Autopilot, and BreakOut West performers Vikki Minor, Beau Nectar, ADEOLUWA, and Rooky Kamiz—recently awarded Afrobeat Artist of the Year (Sask Music Awards 2025) and Global Artist of the Year (Western Canadian Music Awards 2024). Perry’s contributions also extend to supporting SMA performer Halle Ponton and SMA nominee Theo Noble, among many others.
In late 2024, Perry was selected for the prestigious Canada’s Music Incubator Artist Entrepreneur West program, an initiative that brought together talent from across Western Canada. Through this program, Perry expanded his understanding of the Canadian music industry while sharpening his skills as a performer and collaborator.
