Jordan Perry is a Saskatchewan-born, Toronto-based touring drummer known for his musical versatility, technical precision, and dependable, show-ready approach. Equally comfortable in clubs, theatres, and major festival settings, he delivers consistent, high-level performances night after night.

Perry spent eight formative years in Montreal as a member of the technical death metal band Derelict, touring extensively and earning a Canadian Independent Music Award nomination, along with recognition from publications including Exclaim! and Sick Drummer Magazine. The experience shaped his discipline, endurance, and professionalism on the road.

Since returning to Canada’s prairies in 2022 and preparing for his move to Toronto, Perry has become a first-call drummer for a wide range of artists, including Chester Knight, Vikki Minor, The Naysayers, Shayla Souliere, Beau Nectar, and Rooky Kamiz. Known for his play-for-the-song mentality, he adapts quickly across styles including pop, rock, electronic, Afrobeats, country, neo-soul, and metal.

Perry specializes in modern touring setups, integrating acoustic and electronic drums with playback systems. He is experienced running tracks, click, and in-ear monitoring, and can confidently build and operate rigs involving MIDI control, sample triggering, and synchronized live production elements - making him a strong asset for artists performing to tracks or requiring hybrid setups.

In addition to performing, Perry brings valuable behind-the-scenes experience. He has worked as a drum tech for Metric and as a backline technician for the Saskatchewan Jazz Festival, supporting artists including The Beaches, Serena Ryder, Daniel Lanois, Margo Price, Shakey Graves, Amanda Marshall, and Jewel. He also served as Technical Director for Festival Fransaskois (2025–2026), reinforcing his understanding of stage operations, crew communication, and live production workflows.
